Coventry born Danny Crowley has admitted that he would take a loan with the Sky Blues if it was on offer.

Crowley, who is at Arsenal, said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “Hopefully I’ll go out on loan again, although I don’t know where yet.

“It’s going to have to be the right club from a football perspective. I want a team that play the right football because the way I play I can’t just go to any team. I want it to suit my position. I like the ball at my feet and just passing and attacking footballing teams.

The former Cardinal Newman player was on loan at Barnsley and said about playing for City on loan: “I’m open minded to it.

“If the right club comes along, whether that’s in the Championship, League One or abroad, it just has to be the right team that plays the right football that suits me.

“So if a team in League One that plays the right way to suit me comes along then I’d be open minded to it.

“I supported Celtic a little bit when I was a kid but I don’t really have a team but Coventry is my home town and I obviously want the club to do well.

“I love my home and even though I am at Arsenal I come back every week to see my family and friends.

“I saw a few games this season and I went to see the 2-2 draw at Swindon which was a decent passing match.

“I don’t think they did as well as maybe they should have in the end with the players they had this season, but that’s football. Hopefully next season they will be better for the experience.

“I’m sure they can get promoted. Tony Mowbray is a good manager who likes to play the right way and I don’t think Cov will be in League One for long."
