Coventry City Girls went down to a 3-2 defeat to Worcester United in an entertaining game at Sphinx Drive.
Worcester were ahead in the second minute with a well worked goal but Coventry equalised in the 33rd minute when they were able to scramble the ball home following a spell of pressure.
However, a minute later, Worcester were back in front with a cracking finish and it was 3-1 in the 43rd minute.
A 70th minute penalty for a handball brought Coventry back into the game and although the Sky Blues rattled the bar and had chances. they could not find the net and went down to their first defeat of the season.
