Cov City Girls were beaten 4-0 at home by Worcester United this afternoon.
The afternoon after the Girls Presentation Evening saw a home game with Worcester United and saw Cov go a goal down in the 33rd minute when a harshly awarded free kick came off the bar and went in.
Abby Hadlum volleyed against the bar but in the 38th minute, Worcester were awarded a penalty which they duly scored from as they did with a spot kick which Worcester's skipper also converted to see Cov 3-0 down at half time.
Three minutes into the second half, it was four when Worcester beat the offside trap and scored to send Cov to a 4-0 defeat.
