Cooney Can Go

Defender Sean Cooney has been told by Micky Adams that his contract will not be renewed when it expires at the end of the season and the Republic Of Ireland U21 international has been placed on the transfer list.

Cooney has suffered with injuries since joining the Sky Blues Youth team and one bad injury last season at Charlton saw him out for ten months.

This season, Cooney recovered to make six appearances for City Reserves, although his last one at Charlton on Monday night saw him limp off after 53 minutes.
