Consistency Is The Key - McSheffrey

Coventry City midfielder Gary McSheffrey feels that the Sky Blues need to be more consistent on a regular basis next season.

Speaking to the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter, McSheffrey said:"If we can keep hold of our so called better players then its massive and I think Thorny (Andy Thorn) has got an eye for a good player so I'm optimistic to see what happens in the summer in terms of who comes in and who leaves.

"We have got a good set of lads here at the club and there's no big time players here. Everyone is really down to earth and we all get on so whoever comes in will adapt to our style, learn to play with us and I'm sure we'll gel.

"We always seem to start well and finish well whilst I have been at the club, it's just that middle period where we seem to have a bit of a wobble so if we can just be a bit more consistent on a regular basis then that will be the main thing for next year."
