Consistency Is The Key

City midfielder Stephen Hughes has said that the Sky Blues need to be far more consistent next season if they are to get promoted.

Speaking to the club website,Hughes said: "Consistency has been a problem for us this season. "It is an area that needs to be addressed and if we want to be right up there next season, we need to do what the top teams do week in week out.

"A 4-0 defeat at home is not good enough. Individual mistakes have cost us against Preston. "The manager can only do so much and we as players have got to take the criticism. He was gutted after the defeat - just like all of us were."
