Confidence Returning To Freddie

Coventry City forward Freddie Eastwood has said that he is feeling more confident with every game he plays.

The Welsh international has had niggling tendonitis injuries which meant that he has missed training and international matches but feels he is on the way back.

"I feel I am getting back to form since the manager rested me a couple of weeks ago," said Eastwood to the CT.

"I am looking for another goal to get me up and running. The gaffer took Clinton out and he came back and got some goals and he has tried to do the same with me but it hasn't worked in the last couple of games.

"I feel I was unlucky against Swansea because there was an open goal for me and I was just about to take it when I was ripped off the ball, so I can't believe that I didn't get a penalty.

"I didn't want a penalty because I wanted to score and get my goal so that was disappointing. I had another one blocked but that is the way it is at the moment.

"Anyone else in my position would have put it in the back of the net but with me at the minute,my confidence is not so high in front of goal but that has to change sooner rather than later.

"The main thing is to put on a Sky Blue shirt every weekend and score goals and I think the rest from international football has done me a favour in the long term now I am playing freely and not getting any more pain."
