Confidence Low - Adams

Micky Adams has admitted that confidence is low amongst his players.

Although the City boss refused to give all the reasons as to why this is , Adams told the CET: "There are times when you go through bad spells - we had one like this at the beginning of last season but we came out of it and at the end we could give anybody a game. But at the moment, our confidence is at a low ebb, for whatever reason, and we have got to address that. We've got to keep going.

"The players don't need me to go in there and slaughter them; they don't need the supporters to tell them how poor they were. They know. It's a collective thing and I'll take whatever comes my way - I'm sure I'll get bucketsful, but I've got to be big, stick my chest out and make sure we prepare right for Hull City on Saturday."
