Concerns For Cedric

Last updated : 22 August 2006 By Covsupport
There are concerns that former City striker Cedric Rousssel may not play again if a brain anomaly proves to be dangerous.

The striker currently playing for Zulte Waregem said: "The tests are not good at all. After being concussed against Brussels, they [doctors] saw abnormal brain activity. "If I have another collision, I could get a cerebral haemorrhage and at the worst, I hardly dare to say it, a palsy."

The 28 year old who was popular during his time at Highfield Road went on to say: "But if the tests are indeed bad, I want the doctors to decide for me. I will find making that decision myself very difficult."

All at Covsupport wish him well.
