Chris Stokes has said that competition for places is keeping the Coventry City players on their toes.
Speaking to Andy Turner and Aiden McCartney of the Coventry Telegraph, Stokes said: "I like to get forward a bit if I can but it depends. Sometimes I have to sit back, as I did against Wigan, but I feel I am getting closer to a goal as I did on Tuesday against Crewe.
"There's competition in every position and that's keeping us on our toes."
"The young lads have gelled well and they respect the older lads and it's a happy camp here.
"The team is settled at the moment but we're going to have injuries and suspensions along the way and hopefully the lads on the bench will take their chance."
