According to a report in the CET, Lee Hughes has been given a cushy room in Ashwell Prison complete with a television set.

The CET claim that a source told them: "Hughes has been put in the enhanced unit. It normally takes six months to get up there and he has done it in three.

"He was supposed to be going on to the main wing but the governor ordered the move to enhanced, so the other inmates who have been there longer and are not such a celebrity are not happy.

"Saying that, he's very quiet and keeps himself to himself and has been heard telling people he regrets what he has done.

"He is popular because of his football skills. He is making the most of his time there, although he has ruffled a few feathers."
