Calls have been made for Malcolm Glazer to invest in Coventry City. The US tycoon had been trying to take over control of Manchester United but met with severe opposition from United supporters groups. In a high profile campaign, United's reserve game with Birmingham City was interupted with by a demonstration which saw an American flag burned. Glazer is also involved with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The call comes following a poll on this site which saw 47.4% of 3,217 City supporters who responded, feel that someone else should be Chairman of Coventry City rather than Mike McGinnity or Jojar Dhinsa who finished ahead of the current City chairman with 31.6%.

Full results: Mike McGinnity 21.1%, Jojar Dhinsa 31.6%, Someone Else 47.4%.
