Coleman's Input Helps Ladies Win

The training session taken by Coventry City manager Chris Coleman and his assistant Steve Kean on Wednesday night certainly worked this afternoon as Coventry City Ladies beat TNS/Shrewsbury 2-1 in a Midland Woman's Combination fixture.

The City boss had put the Sky Blue Ladies through their paces and was pleased with the way the players reacted by buying into what was being taught.

Jade Formastion and Helen Dermody (pictured below) scored for the Sky Blues.



Coventry Copsewood beat Leicester City 4-2 to stay in third place in the table. Coventry City Ladies are sixth.
