Coventry City manager Chris Coleman refused to rule out a return to the Sky Blue fold for Michael Mifsud.

Speaking at the fans forum tonight, Coleman said: "We had no plans for Michael Mifsud to go anywhere and we did not want to sell but you cannot keep a player who is not happy.

"We saw in pre-season that he was not happy and he spoke to the Chairman about other clubs.

"You can't come back when you know that your future is elsewhere but if Mifsud has to come out and explain what he wants then I won't hold a grudge."

The forum saw Ray Ranson as the other guest speakers with Gary Hoffman, Joe Elliott, club staff and representatives from BBC Coventry & Warwickshire also attending.

The crowd of around 180 in the Legends Lounge heard Coleman say that he was very confident Clinton Morrison and Stephen Wright would be in the team for Saturday fingers crossed and added that up until September, we still have a lot to do and have spoken to the players who may be leaving.
