Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has admitted that he wants to sign Stockport County's Carl Baker.

Stockport boss Gary Ablett has already said that he expects Baker to be joining Coventry and Chris Coleman has confirmed his interest by telling the CT: "He is one of a number of players that we have been looking at over the last couple of months and whom I have recommended to the chairman and board."

Baker played the whole game for Stockport in a 4-2 home defeat to Leeds United this afternoon and scored in the match with a free kick.
