Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he is trying to keep the pressure off youngster Aron Einar Gunnarsson.

The City boss spoke to the CT yesterday about the 19 year old signed for £300,000k from AZ 67 Alkmaar, and said: "I don't want to say we have signed the new Paul Gascoigne or anything like that.

"Aron is agressive, got great energy and is a good passer but he's only 19. "We are not expecting him to take the league by storm or anything like that this season - I don't want the fans to think we have signed Ronaldinho.

"He is a good young player and will improve but you don't get in the Iceland international team at 18 or 19 not being a good player.

"There will be no extra pressure and I will use him wisely. He's too young to be playing 46 games - that would be asking toomuch of him. But if he plays the way we think he can then he is going to play a lot."
