Coleman To Spend In Transfer Window

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he will try to bring in some new faces when the transfer window reopens.

"I am going to try and bring in some new faces at Christmas time," said Coleman, who gave his players extra training yesterday, to the CT.

"That was always the plan but maybe we need to bring more in because I don't want to be in the bottom half of the Championship. I don't even want to be in the top half I want to be in the Premier League.

"I have had a taste of it and I loved it and I have come here to take this club back to the Premier League. It is as simple as that.

"I am not happy where we are and I won't be comfortable until I know where this club should be. We are not strong enough as a group to be where we want to be, not at the minute so there is a lot to do."

How much money, Chairman Ray Ranson will let Coleman spend on players is not known. Figures of £4m have been banded about but there has been nothing official to confirm this.
