Coventry City manager Chris Coleman is expected to announce which players and staff he wants for next season in the next week.

The new City boss has decided that he will get everything sorted now rather than the end of the season and wants to be honest and open with everybody.

Players out of contract are Stephen Hughes, Michael Hughes, Aarjan De Zeeuw, Colin Hawkins,Andy Marshall,Stuart Giddings,Marcus Hall, Donovan Simmonds, Ellery Cairo, Danny Ireland,Liam Francis, Lee Hildreth and Liam Davis.

Youngsters looking for a new contract include Neil Collett,Callum Burgess, Dean Marshall,Liam Robinson and Ashley Cain.

Kevin Kyle, who has a year left on his contract, may be allowed to find a new club when he returns from Wolves on loan.

Coleman will also announce which backroom staff he wants to keep for next season. With Richard Shaw and Dave Phillips expected to make a return to the club, there is likely to be a trimming in certain areas which will probably include the £40k a year stats man.

The former Fulham boss told the CT: "We are going to be as honest as we can. "Players are out of contract so it is not easy for them and some of the staff are nervous becasue they don't know whether they are going or staying."
