Sawyer joined City on a 28 day loan from Chelsea and has only made one start against Cardiff and a five minute substitute appearance at Derby and his loan expires on Sunday.
Chris Coleman is yet to discuss the player with Chelsea saying to the CT: "I have not discussed that with Lee or the people at Chelsea yet."
