Coventry City manager Chris Coleman says his side are ready to meet Dean Saunders Wrexham side this afternoon.

Coleman and Saunders were Wales team-mates and Coleman told the CT: "Of course, you want to win matches but the most important thing is the fitness.

"We will be looking to give the players 45 minutes or maybe an hour but thats the maximum and it is a good chance to assess where we are in terms of our physical preparation. But it is our first game so we won't be reading too much into it.

"I obviously know Deano very well and I spoke to him during the summer about a lot of things and we agreed to try to get a game together.

"He is one of the best players I have ever played with and against . He was a fantastic player and a big personality.

"He used to talk to me a lot because we are from the same home town and I was a young lad coming into the team and he used to give me little tips.

Live updates will appear on this site from 2.50pm and Kev Monks report will be available after the game.
