Coventry City manager Chris Coleman is putting his faith in Freddy Eastwood for this afternoon's Championship fixture against West Brom.

"Freddy has a good chance of starting up front," said Chris Coleman, speaking about the forward who always trains and always wants to play to the CT.

"We need people to step up to the mark because we have lost two on the bounce, conceding four goals and not scoring any, so we need players to come in and take their chance in the absence of others.

"He's a great boy and I think he feels himself that he knows the fans are desperate for him to do well. He is one of those players that supporters take to because there is something about Freddy Eastwood that then general public like.

"He is a brave boy. I have seen players in the past who have not been under the same pressure as him and they have gone missing but Freddy never shirks it.

"And if he gets his chance and nicks a goal which he is desperate to do then I think you will see a proper celebration from our supporters because they are urging him on, they really are and it would be great if it came this weekend."
