Coventry City manager Chris Coleman was pleased with the 1-1 draw against former club Crystal Palace at the Ricoh Arena.

Speaking to the club website, the City manager said: "We should have got the three points to be fair but I was delighted with the way the lads never let their heads drop after going behind and stuck at it to get one back.

"We've had no luck in oppositions' boxes recently but that will change if we continue to play like we did in the second half.

"You're only as good as your strikers and Besty and Clinton worked their socks off tonight. Clinton never got his goal but he made a fantastic contribution.

"As for Besty, I was really pleased to see him get on the scoresheet as it's been a difficult week for him with Ireland not qualifying for the World Cup.

"I thought all the boys did really well and we seemed to have a much better balance in the side tonight which is something we have been lacking recently with all the injuries we have had.

"We have got to take this result now and go to QPR and do our level best to get something down there."
