Coleman On Win At Hinckley

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has been talking about City's 2-0 win at Hinckley United on Saturday.

"It was tough because Hinckley played at break neck pace for the first 45 minutes but it was a good goal from Leon Best - a strikers goal - and we keep telling him to get in the box and both goals came from strikers in the box so I was pleased with that," said Coleman to the CT.

"We kept a clean sheet and everyone worked hard and we wanted to make sure we won the game because getting into that habit isa good thing.

"There has been progress in terms of the guys fitness but they are still not there in terms of us being more fluent. But if you looked at us last year, we were up and down and nothing all in same game.

"Now we are asking for a bit more consistency which means we won't be playing like we did last year - we need to be stronger and tighter as a unit and keep more clean sheets. When you can get that, you can build off it.

"We have got games against Northampton, Huddersfield, Dunfermline and Everton and that's when we start getting our proper fitness."
