Coventry City manager Chris Coleman was not happy about the conditions of the Vicarage Road pitch after the Sky Blues 2-1 defeat to Watford this afternoon.

"For both teams it is a mockery really because anything can happen and unfortunately we came out with nothing," said Coleman to the media after the game.

"I think that in the end it was a little bit dangerous. Anything can happen in conditions like that. It is not a complaint because we wanted to play the game but I would not want to play in another game like that this season.

"There was not really any football being played by both teams because really it was impossible and we said at half-time the team that makes the least mistakes in their own penalty area is going to come out on top and we ended up giving away a penalty."
