Coleman In Blackburn Betting

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has been included in odds offered by some bookies for the vacant manager's job at Blackburn Rovers.

Paul Ince was dismissed this morning by the Ewood Park club and speculation has been rife about who will succeed the former Macclesfield and Mk Dons boss.

In a long list of candidates, Chris Coleman is rated as a 70/1 chance to get the job but with some top managers out of work, Rovers are likely to get in someone they bring in straight away rather than someone in a job whom they will have to pay compensation for.

Former City players Sam Allardce, Martin Jol, Gordon Strachan, Gary McAllister, Stuart Pearce and Colin Hendry are also in Betfair's list of possible candidates along with Peter Reid.
