Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he has been disappointed with the team spirit of late and felt that the injured Stephen Wright had a big infliuence on that.

"I have been in football a long time and I am not daft," said Chris Coleman to the CT.

"We had a lot of injuries during the Christmas period but we had Stephen Wright in the team, who has got a lot of experience, and he almost galvanised us.

"For whatever reason now, maybe the players we have got have been affected by the fact that they have not been winning.

"I think we have been going into games weaker than we have for most of the season in terms of numbers of bodies and if you lose and don't play well then it is easy to make an excuse.

"And when it happens continuously and you draw, draw, lose, lose, draw, and there's no win that comes along, people tend to rather than look at themselves to point fingers at others and that's a big disappointment.

"You need team spirit when you are not winning every week and to see what players are prepared to do about it, and that's something we have been disappointed with."
