Coventry City manager Chris Coleman was a happy man after the Sky Blues 4-1 victory over Southampton this evening.

"We could have been four up at half-time,"said Chris Coleman to the media. " I don't think anybody could have had too many complaints if we had been.

"We had a great start to the second half but then Southampton changed their shape and put us under a little bit of pressure, but it would have been a travesty had we got anything else but a win.

"We created a lot of chances and scored four goals so that's a great result for us.

"I've learnt in this league that teams will come and make it tough for you and try to stop you from playing - but it's all about results.

"I said that I wanted to see where we are after 10 games and I set us a target of 15 points, and I think that makes it a pretty good start to the season."
