Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he is committed to bringing in Leon Barnett on a permanent deal.

It looks likely that City will have Elliott Ward until his contract expires in the summer and with Ben Turner coming back to fitness, there is plenty of choice for the central defensive pairing.

However, the City boss remains intent on trying to bring in Barnett and told the CT: "We looking long term with Leon, so that won't change."

West Brom have already said that they will make up their minds about a deal for Barnett when his loan spell at the Ricoh Arena expires on January 31st.
