Coleman signed the Welsh international from Wolves in the summer but Eastwood, who was expected to be the answer to Coventry's goal dearth has only found the net on three occasions.
"Freddy is different class, he has come here with big expectations," said Chris Coleman to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire. "It has not worked like we planned but I believe it is going to come right for him".
