Coventry City Manager Chris Coleman was furious with his side who slipped to defeat at Scunthorpe United this afternoon.

Speaking after the game, Coleman said:"I am angry and I hope the players are too. "This was a game we should not have lost.

"But we have players who were too selfish at times and you don't win anything as a team when that happens. "I honestly believe we have a squad that is good enough to be sitting in the middle of the table in the Championship.

"But we are where we are. It's no good just producing performances two or three times out of every six or seven games.

"I get paid by the chairman who works four weeks a month and so do the players.

"We have got to put together a consistent run of form and that has got to stretch over a number of games."
