Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has admitted a charge of 'improper conduct' during the Sky Blues 3-0 home defeat by Bristol City.

Coleman's behaviour saw him sent to the stands for an outburst at referee Phil Dowd and he admitted the E3 charge back in August.

With the FA deeply emerged in the 'Respect' campaign which is designed to stop the abuse of referees, assistants and fourth officials, Coleman could face a touchline ban and fine.

The FA are expected to announce what punishment will be metered out to the Sky Blues boss who has a good record in their next sitting.

Referee Mr Dowd from Staffordshire, who made a number of mistakes in the game that affected both sides, is not expected to face any disciplinary charges.
