Club Silent On Clouting Departure

The sudden resignation of Chief Executive Paul Clouting on Wednesday  has left many questions surrounding the reasons why he left unanswered, but the club has yet to make a comment.

It is understood that the club will make a statement after Clouting and the club finalise his departure.

Mr Clouting whose time at Derby County where he joined and worked at The Rams at the same time as Jeremy Keith who is now prohibited from being a director of a company, has come in for much scrutiny from a number of City supporters, was brought in to try and boost attendances at the Ricoh Arena.

However, after recent events including stewards being sent in to quell any protests or public concern raising about the way the club is being run, even more City supporters have excuses not to go to home matches and attendances remain well shy of the reported break even figure of 20,000.
