Club Cautious On Disabled Approach

Coventry City have been advised to speak to professionals and disabled supporters before going ahead with any changes to the criteria for disabled supporters to purchase a season ticket.

There are concerns amongst certain club employees that the club has too many supporters with disabled season tickets and their carers is looking to tighten the criteria which currently applies to anyone who receives Disabled Living Allowance.

Over the years, the club has made great strides in its treatment of disabled supporters and has led the way in complying with DDA regulations which prevent it from discriminating against those with different disabilities especially ambulant disabled supporters and a decision is expected shortly.
