Coventry City's newly installed chief executive Paul Clouting had dismissed claims made in yesterday's Mirror newspaper that the club were touting their better to other clubs in a desperate bid to raise funds for the cash strapped club.

Several key players are out of contract in the summer, including Irish international goal keeper Kieren Westwood, striker Marlon King and Icelandic midfielder Aron Gunnarsson (pictured below), who could ail leave the club for free if they do not sign new contracts.

Paul Clouting said, "We've got more important things to be getting on with and what's really important is that we support the manager and players and that's what we are working on doing."
