Coventry City midfielder Sammy Clingan has said that he hopes that during his three year contract at the Ricoh Arena, he play with the Sky Blues in the Premier.

Speaking in a film for the Late Kick Off programme, filmed on his 26th birthday, the Ulsterman who had trials with Arsenal and Celtic, has yet to taste life in the top flight of English football after joining Wolves as a 16 year old and playing for Wolves, Chesterfield, Nottingham Forest and Norwich City.

"I'm here for three years, " said Clingan who described his best goal for City so far as the thirty yard free kick at Preston. "Hopefully in those three years, we can push for a place in Premier League and I can play in it."
