Former Coventry City midfielder Sammy Clingan has been recalled by Northern Ireland for their two World Cup Qualfiers.
Clingan, who is understood to have wanted wages of £12k a week to sign a new contract at Coventry City, is currently without a club, has been called up to Michael O'Neill's squad for the games against Russia on Friday at the Lokomotiv Stadium, Moscow; kick-off: 7.00pm (local time); before taking on Luxembourg at Windsor Park in Belfast, on Tuesday (September 11); kick-off: 7.45pm.
