Former Coventry City midfielder Sammy Clingan has signed for Glenavon.
The former Northern Ireland International, who made 98 appearances for City, scoring seven times, had been back in his native Northern Ireland last season, playing for Linfield for whom the Belfast born midfielder made eleven appearances.
Clingan left Linfield at the end of last season and has appeared for Glenavon in a number of pre-season games and on Tuesday night signed for the Lurgan based side on a one year deal.
Clingan joins former City U18's and reserve team keeper Jonny Tuffey, who is also with Glenavon.
