The Faroe Islands international who scored the first ever goal at the Ricoh Arena, was released by Blackpool and has signed a short term deal.
Speaking to the Sentinenal newapaper, Micky Adams said: "Claus has got other options but we have signed him on a non-contract basis which, in affect, means we don't pay him.
"He's helping us out to some degree and he's a player that I know well. He can score goals and he's a forward thinking player."
