Coventry City Vice-Chairman John Clarke has said that he wants to tap into the Asian business community and Asian community in Coventry,

"There is a huge amount of work going on behind the scenes with the team at the Ricoh, the academy and at Ryton," Clarke told the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter.

"One of the real innovative initiatives we are doing is engaging with the local Asian community, both the Asian business community and the Asian community itself.

"We know the Asian community forms overs 20 per cent of the area's population and we want to forge closer links with them, so we are planning to set up an Asian business group and we are already forming close links with Asian youngsters

"We have a vision to expand the Coventry City brand internationally and that includes forging very close links with India in terms of developing relationships."
