Clarke Aware That Scunthorpe Could Be A Threat To Unbeaten Run

Coventry City defender Jordan Clarke has admitted that City will have to be on their guard tonight at Scunthorpe United.

City face Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park and the Sky Blues travel unbeaten in their last seven league and cup games to face a side which has won their last two homes games but was beaten 4-1 at Chesterfield on Saturday.

Clarke told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “It’s great to be back at the Ricoh Arena and to start with a 100 per cent record in our first two games.

“Everyone is buzzing – the players, manager and fans – and we want to keep it going. But these are the sorts of games you can slip up in, especially when you’re on a good run and the opposition are not in form.

“That’s the story of football; it always throws up shocks, but given how solid we are at the moment we’re very confident of going to Scunthorpe and getting a result.”
