City's Game At Port Vale Is Behind Closed Doors

For those who don't know Coventry City's pre-season friendly at Port Vale scheduled for this evening has been made a Behind Closed Doors match.

Port Vale, who are in administration, have not completed building work at Vale Park in time and they do not have a safety certificate to permit supporters into parts of their stadium.

City will still play the game but it will be played this afternoon to save Vale, the expense of having to use their floodlights.
