The latest efforts in the bid to keep Coventry City playing at the Ricoh Arena were heard in Westminster.

Here's basically what was said:

Coventry MP Jim Cunningham brought the debate to Westminster Hall and he fully blamed SISU for the problem, saying they cannot claim to be a seperate entity.

He said that CCFC must stay no other option, too many red lines prevent talks, Wasps are appealed to change their minds and open talks, Sisu must consider withdrawing legal claims.

Cunningham wants mediation but previous attempts have failed and said that his aim is urgently to start again.

The MP is hoping that the Secretary Of State For Sport will meet with various interested parties to help reach resolution. Cunningham then talking about wider problems throughout the country and poor owners, the fit and proper person test is currently failing and must be changed."

Another Coventry MP Colleen Fletcher said: "SISU "batter them in the courts" strategy failed but a 1 year agreement was reached thankfully, she says that unless the owners changed their way of business the same problems would still exist."

She also said: "Sisu actions in the last year have been just as toxic and 1 year later the club is on the countdown to homelessness - the failure for the club to play at the ricoh will be disastrous for the club and city.

"The fans demand better, long term agreement and an owner the fans can trust. all parties must get around and negotiate now. Sisu though are not fit owners of the football club and must go.

MP for Nuneaton Marcus Jones said that it was unbelievable that we are here again. alternatives do exist including Nuneaton Borough. He does not support any such move, the ground and road infrastructure does not support this and said that  he has heard rumours that CCFC are seeking to play at Nuneaton Borough.

He also said that Sisu have a moral obligation to the city and their fans. Questions must be asked of Wasps - doesn't blame their stance but do they really want the biggest club in coventry to stop existing? Wasps need asking this.
