City's Form Has Surprised Me - Ferguson

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has said that Coventry City's run of poor form has surprised him.

Speaking to the Peterborough Telegraph, Ferguson said: “Coventry’s form this season has surprised me. I felt they would get a boost from returning to the Ricoh, but they won their first two games there and haven’t won since. It must be a confidence thing as they have a good squad full of talented players.

“I watched their last two games against Bristol City and Oldham and they found them tough, but I suspect one good win would get them up and running again and we must make sure it doesn’t come against us.

“As always the most important thing is to maintain our own standards. We’re playing well at the moment and if we keep to our current level we will give anyone a tough game in this division.”
