City's Agent Fee Spending Revealed

Figures released by the Football League this morning show that Coventry City gave only £15,000 to agents from January to June 2006.

City's total for the year (June 05-June 06) was £164,550 which saw four new registations, three updated contracts, twelve cancelled contracts, and four loans.
The Sky Blues were comfortably mid-table compared to other sides in the Championship. At the bottom end,Crewe only spent £15,000 all year,whilst Leeds paid out £604,800, Southampton £575,000 and Preston North End £534,000.

The total spent in agents fees in the Championship was a staggering £6, 311,853.which was £500k down on the previous year.
