City Will Remember Them

Coventry City will mark the annual Remembrance Day, before and during Saturday's home game with Crystal Palace.

Unlike Aston Villa, who have stopped the sale of poppies at Villa Park as they don't want to infringe on the giving to their Acorns Charity, the Sky Blues will have poppies available for sale before the game and the City players will wear an embroidered poppy on arms bands.

The Royal British Legion
City are also offering reduced admission for those serving in the Armed Forces. On production of valid Armed Services id, personnel can buy a ticket at the concession rate rather than the full rate.

Coventry's Commercial Director Nathan Kosky told the club website: "We are proud to be able to show our respect for serving troops, and giving concessions on match-days is something I hope encourages our fans in the armed forces to come to the Ricoh when they can."
