City Will Play Italians

Coventry City have confirmed that their planned friendly with Italian side Udinese will go ahead, The Serie A side have called off a game with Bolton but have agreed to play City at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday August 4th at 3pm.

Iain Dowie told the club website:"It's always challenging when you play teams from a different country. "You can't read too much into pre-season games but it will be a good test for us and we will be extremely focussed for it. It's a great opportunity for the fans to see our new players in action as well."
