One of the lesser know managers linked with the vacant managerial post at Coventry City is Eddie Howe who has just guided Bournemouth AFC to promotion back to League One.

Another former Sky Blues boss Mickey Adams suggested Howe's name as a possible replacement for Chris Coleman after his current side Port Vale were beaten by Bournemouth last Saturday.

However, speaking to The Bournemouth Echo, Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell said, "I'm sure there will be people trying to prise one or two out of us and I think probably one or two trying to prise the managerial staff out of us, but this moment in time, we're not selling."

"The club has always been a selling club. But we want to stabilise the club and not sell our best assets. We think we can take them further."
