City V Swindon Highlights

Last updated : 21 January 2018 By CNS Sport

Coventry City manager Mark Robins praised his goalscorers in the Sky Blues win over Swindon Town.

Robins told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire about the goals scored by Max Biamou and Marc McNulty: "It was at that time that we were one the back foot and didn’t really get a foothold in the game, but when you have got the power and pace of those players, and players on the bench to turn things round, you are going to come under pressure at times.

"But I thought we dealt with it really well, and there were some really determiend performances from both sides. But from our side, in particular, and some great finishing.

"McNulty’s goal was top drawer and Biamou’s goal was top drawer and probably one for goal of the month. It was a well taken penalty as well.

"I’m just pleased with the three points because it’s so tight up there. We were third last week and then dropped out and then backed it up against a good home performance against a really strong Swindon side.

"The last eight-ten minutes I thought we saw the game out well and dealt with their threat comfortably because they were in positions to do that. They brought Marc Richards on and had pace in the side, so it’s a really pleasing result."
