Coventry City's League One game against Sheffield United is set to go ahead despite The Blades having three players called up for international duty.

Former City striker Marlon King has been called up for Jamaica, Sean McGinty is in the Republic Of Ireland squad and George Long is in Gareth Southgate's England U21's squad and the Blades would be well within their rights to have the game on Sunday October 13th which kicks off at 4pm and is live on Sky, postponed.

United boss David Weir, an experienced Scottish international, said to his club's website: "As we speak I expect the game to go-ahead and we are here to play football matches. Hopefully we can prove we have enough depth to the squad to cope with the absentees and still get a positive result.
