Coventry City's League Two home fixture with Cambridge United could be postponed if either side progresses to the FA Cup Third Round.

If the Sky Blues get past Boreham Wood in their FA Cup Second Round tie on December 3rd, then the league fixture at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday January 6th will be postponed due to being FA Cup Third Round weekend.

The home League Two fixture will also be off if Cambridge United get through their Second Round tie which sees Cambridge away to Newport County if Coventry City don't progress to the Third Round of the FA Cup.

If City do get through to the Third Round and are drawn at home, subject to the demands of television, any Third Round tie at the Ricoh Arena would have to be played on Friday January 5th, Saturday January 6th or Monday January 8th as Wasps are at home to Saracens on Sunday January 7th at 3pm in an Aviva Premiership fixture.

The draw for the Third Round is expected to be on Monday December 4th at 7pm.
